What three armies are in the Bloodfields Cursed Sands realm?

We are proud to present the three armies that together make up for the Cursed Sands realm of endless desert. The first faction are Gods of Sun and Sands, an awe-inspiring force that goes back to the glory of ancient Egypt. At the heart of this collection are mummy miniatures, a legion of skeleton models, and avatars of an ancient deity - Ur. These ancient warrior miniatures are imbued with powerful magic that allows them to shrug off blows and carry weapons that can cleave through enemy lines with ease. Up next, there is Bazaar of Miracles with miniatures inspired by an exotic world of Arabian tales. They have djinn figures, magical beings capable of wielding incredible power. Meanwhile, the trader and fakir miniatures are master manipulators, able to barter their way to victory with their wealth and knowledge of artifacts. For close combat, Bazaar of Miracles offers a variety of troops, including desert cavalry models. To complement these two armies, there is a Cult of Flame, a secluded organization gathering forces far in the desert. They use the dark force to prepare for an uprising of the flame and include fire-dancer miniatures, lion-beast warrior models, bird-flying archer cavalry units, and sinister desert mage figures.

Are there Egyptian-themed miniatures in Gods of Sun and Sands army?

This whole collection was designed to sign the glory of ancient Egypt. The sculpts include armor and weapons inspired by actual historical pieces of equipment. Sharifa the Timeless is a powerful mummy miniature, a regal female pharaoh who has been mummified along with her snake. The mummy queen stands tall, her body adorned with ancient Egyptian jewelry with her face shrouded by the ceremonial headdress. In its hand, this miniature holds a serpent scepter, a symbol of authority and dominion over the living and the dead. She serves Ur, an ancient deity that has many avatar miniatures available in the army. One of them is Rerrkor, its miniature depicts a towering humanoid crocodile, a fearsome representation of a divine being. This model has a multitude of ornate decorations including armlets and bracers. Another avatar is Aarogan, the sphinx miniature, a majestic and awe-inspiring creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human. Its massive wings spread wide, and its sharp talons dig into the earth. It manifests inscrutable wisdom and power. The avant-garde of this army is the Jeweled Scarabaeus, a strange and unsettling creation, a lethal killing machine armored with thick metal plates. You will find intricate Egyptian themes all across this range, so if you are a fan of this setting be sure to roll it on the battlefield and rip through your opponents.

Was Bazaar of Miracles Bloodfields army created with an Arabian Nights theme in mind?

This collection was a true wonder to design and it consists of many Arabian models inspired by the Middle East. The environment of this army is drawn from a fantasy bazaar city and has many elements that will let your mind travel to this exotic land. First of all, we would like to present the djinn miniature, a powerful and mystical being from Arabian mythology. Its lower body trails into a swirling mist. You can paint the djinn model in deep blue and finish it up with some golden accents and jewelry for a mystical effect. The Bazaar of Miracles has a complicated hierarchy of local aristocrats but all of them are ruled by Emir Raheem. His miniature depicts him as regal and proud, mounted on a majestic pegasus. His robes are flowing and his face is fierce and determined as he summons a sandstorm, his signature move. The pegasus model is muscular and powerful. Its coat of fur can be painted pure white and hooves in gold. Next up, there is a famous thief miniature Ali Dhin looking cunning and agile on his flying carpet. With a bandolier of bullets strapped across his chest and a trusty rifle, he watches over the city. He also has a small monkey perched on his shoulder, chattering excitedly. Below them, in the actual bazaar, we have a whole range of trader miniatures and Al-Hakim, the fakir model, a mysterious figure with a giant turban. He is dressed in flowing robes with intricate patterns as he floats effortlessly in the air, his legs crossed in meditation. We are sure that you will find a great deal of inspiration in this range and find many synergies between the units while playing Bazaar of Miracles.

How to play the Cursed Sands armies in Bloodfields?

If you want to learn how to utilize the Cursed Sands armies in the best way, you need to learn and understand each army's traits and loyalty bonuses. Bazaar of Miracles has one of the most straightforward and powerful mechanics in this department. At the beginning of the game, you receive three wishes that you can use at any time of the game to change the result of any dice you roll. This bonus is always useful and can tip the scales of the battle when it is most needed. The ability to use it at any time is quite versatile. Gods of Sun and Sands army has an interesting bonus that punishes the enemy for destroying your models and curses them with an eternal hex. You will find that many models in this army have bonuses when they attack enemies affected by this condition. Later, when it is needed, your units may also spend the curse tokens from the enemies for some much-needed inspiration. Finally, the Cult of Flame has bonuses that bring a nice punch. First of all, every unit in this army becomes a Mage in addition to their other traits and can cast a weak but useful bolt at range. Additionally, all your heroes can sacrifice a little of their health points to imbue their attacks with fire for additional hits. Spending the health points can be quite useful in the particular case of the Cult of Flame army, as you will find that many models in it become stronger once they have some damage tokens on themselves.
